Gallery doors open onto a small village of brick walks and weathered timber, while Brown County State Park begins just beyond town with wooded ridges, lake trails, overlooks, and serious singletrack.
Nashville and Brown County
Nashville grew around an art colony drawn to Brown County's wooded hills. Start with historic Indiana landscapes at the Brown County Art Gallery and Art Guild, then compare them with current work in village studios. Brown County State Park begins a short drive away, so two nights leave a full day for its overlooks, trails, or mountain-bike network.

Choose an overlook, a lake loop, a rugged ridge trail, or a mountain-bike ride across Indiana's largest state park.

A two-night trip leaves one full day for Brown County State Park and separate time for Nashville's galleries, studios, shops, and restaurants. One trail or mountain-bike route plus two or three arts stops is a fuller visit than a rushed sweep of every listing.
